Ken said this round of chemo hit him harder than the first. We do the next on the 26th. He is very tired most of the time. Hasn't had much of an appetitie. He wakes up every night at 2. Sometimes he can go back to sleep but mostly stays awake and reads.
Talk about stress.
School starts tomorrow for all our kids except Arianna. She starts Monday. She got the teacher she wanted.
Steve got his letter from Ken's dr. so now he can start trying to get a transfer back here. The Army still hasn't found his household goods. He is ready to throw a major fit.
It is HOT here with no sign of rain for several days.
Things have been falling apart. Had to get 2 new tires, wipers for both cars, and now my windshield is cracked. The toilet is broke. Had one plumber this morning and he thought he had it fixed but didn't. Hopefully we will have a different one this afternoon. The blades on the riding mower need to be repaced but we can't find any. The blowers won't work so we got an electric one. The edger broke. Went without internet for a few days. You name it, it has torn up.
My daughter and husband are going to Reno for Labor day weekend. My son is keeping the kids. They are going to spread his dad's ashes.
About 5 more weeks and we will find out if the chemo is working or if we need to to change the medicine. I sure am praying.
Better go. I am trying to accomplish one major task a day so I need to do one today. So far this week, I have done all the laundry, ironing and cleaned the bedroom closet. Was hoping to do the hall closet and med cabinets today.
Keep Ken in your prayers and if you would, could you please ask that Steve gets transferred back here. He is so worried about his dad.
Have a good day.
